GE2014
About the GE2014 Conference and Ph.D. school
The annual conference of “Associazione Gruppo Italiano di Elettronica” represents an opportunity for bringing together the scientific community to discuss about the state of Electronics academy and industry. The 2014 edition of the conference (GE2014) aims at promoting the interaction betwen researchers and industry, highlighting the activity of young Ph.D. researchers and defining Italian electronics research in the framework of Horizon 2020.
GE2014 aspires at providing an open forum for the presentation and discussion of recent research in all branches of electronics technology, devices, circuits, systems and applications. Moreover, it aims at shading light on the new frontiers and challenges of scientific and technologic progress.
Prior to the conference, the traditional international Ph.D. school is held. The School will cover some of the main ICT research topics in Horizon 2020. A special section of the school will be dedicated to illustrate national and european funding opportunities; such special section will be open for all the conference attendees.
The 2014 edition is organized by the Electronics Group of University of Cagliari, Italy, that is honored to welcome the members of electronics community in Sardinia. The two events will be held in Cagliari, a location offering beautiful sceneries, natural landscapes, good cuisine and art treasures. Anyhow, it is less known than the renowned Sardinian beaches. It will be our pleasure to host you in the historical places of our town and our university, within the heart of “Castello” area, to encourage you to discover (or re-discover) its hidden treasures.
