the second edition of IP Santarém Summer Course that will take place between 7 and 16 of september, 2016.
Last year’s edition was a success, with students coming from Holland, Finland, Libya, Brazil and Mozambique.
This year, students will have an exciting opportunity to learn and meet new friends, and discover Portugal’s central region, defined by CNN as a «largely undiscovered array of treasures».
The course will take place in Santarém (just 45 minutes away from Lisbon), and its program is a great blend of language learning, specific skills development, interaction with teachers and international students, great trips and fun!
The IPSantarém Summer Course includes 11 modules, from where students may choose 2 or 3 different ones (minimum: 30 hours / maximum: 45 hours):
– Portuguese Language and Culture (30 hours)
– Basic Life Support (15 hours)
– Digital Literacy (15 hours)
– Emotional Care and Well-Being of Babies (15 hours)
– Entrepreneurship (15 hours)
– Fitness (15 hours)
– Health and Food (15 hours)
– Outdoor Sports (15 hours)
– Portuguese History and Society (15 hours)
– Puppet Modeling Techniques (15 hours)
– Viticulture and Animal Production (15 hours)
The Portuguese Language and Culture module has been designed as a preparation for those who want to proceed their studies in Portugal, on Erasmus + mobility.
In addition to the studies, participants of IPSantarém Summer Course will benefit from several cultural and social activities, that include city tours, trips to the beach, etc.
All students will get 3 ECTS upon approval on the course, that may be added to their learning agreement.
Application deadline: 25th July 2016.
500 euros, until 20th of June;
or 600 euros, from 20th of June to 25th July 2016.
Group discount: 450 euros for each member in groups of 3 or more participants.
This fee includes all the course activities and materials, accommodation and the two main meals at the IPSantarém facilities. It is definitely a great price for so much fun!
