His PhD thesis was focused on Localized <i>in situ<\/i> synthesis and characterization of metal mono\/bimetallic nanoparticles (NPs) on bio-polymer films. In particular, he carried out a study on size\/density-tuning, and formation mechanisms of photoreduced generated NPs under a nanosecond pulsed laser regime. Afterwards, he continued working as a postdoc researcher at department of biotechnology, pharmacy, and chemistry, University of Siena. He studied on chemical synthesis and physicochemical characterization of thermosensitive microgels containing functional magnetic NPs for drug delivery applications. Mehran joined Dr. Mula&#8217;s group in University of Cagliari since May 2017 as a postdoc fellow working on preparation, characterization, and photocurrent properties of porous silicon\/conductive polymer hybrid composites through electrochemical processing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: blue\">Elisa Pinna \u00a0 \u00a0&#8212; \u00a0 \u00a0PhD student<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-132\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.unica.it\/enapsi\/files\/2018\/05\/foto-Elisa-IMG_8253-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/enapsi\/files\/2018\/05\/foto-Elisa-IMG_8253-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/enapsi\/files\/2018\/05\/foto-Elisa-IMG_8253.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Elisa Pinna received her Bachelor Degree in Physics at the University of\u00a0Cagliari in 2013 with an experimental thesis on the analysis of Er-doped\u00a0porous silicon samples. She received her Master Degree in Physics in 2015\u00a0at the same university with an experimental thesis in the optimization of\u00a0organic-inorganic hybrid interfaces using nanostructured silicon. In 2016\u00a0she had been a Research Student at CNR-IOM of Cagliari supported by an\u00a0EnAPSi grant, working on porous silicon for energy applications. From\u00a0September 2016 she is a PhD Student at the University of Cagliari and\u00a0she is presently a Visiting \u00a0PhD Student at ICMPE-CNRS at Thiais (France) in the group of St\u00e9phane Bastide.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: blue\">Eugenio Redolfi Riva \u00a0 \u00a0&#8212; \u00a0 \u00a0post-doc research associate<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sites.unica.it\/enapsi\/files\/2018\/10\/Resume-Redolfi-Riva-Eng_1.pdf\">Eugenio Redolfi Riva<\/a> is a Biomedical Engineer and PhD in BioRobotics. He received his Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2011 at the University of Pisa and the PhD graduation in 2015 with full marks at Scuola Superiore Sant\u2019Anna in Pisa. After PhD graduation he worked as Research Fellow at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Pontedera. His expertise regards the fields of Bio-Nanotechnology and Biomaterials applied to Pharmacology, Tissue Engineering, Plasmonic and Photovoltaic Nanomaterials. As Biomedical Engineer his expertise also covers the field of Medical Devices and Medical Robotics. Very prone to verbal communication, teaching and interested in Technological Innovation in all its aspects (R&amp;D, Market Analysis, Technology Transfer).
