MAIN RESEARCH INTERESTS AND ACTIVITY
- My research activity is mainly focused on novel (nano)materials for energy production & harvesting as well as biomedical applications. In particular, I make use of multiscale computational techniques aimed at the characterization of specific material’s properties such as: morphological, electronic, transport and mechanical.
- My previous and on-going research projects are the following:
-Polymer-based hybrid for photovoltaic and thermoelectric applications
-Nanoscale thermal transport for thermolelectrics and phononics
-Metal/polymer nanocomposites for biomedical applications
