In occasione del VII Congresso del Gruppo Nazionale di Bioingegneria<\/a> (GNB2020), tenutosi dal 9 all’11 giugno 2021\u00a0in modalit\u00e0 virtuale,<\/span> anche il team che da anni lavora al progetto DoMoMEA ha partecipato.<\/p>\n A partecipare e a raccontare le motivazioni che, fin dal primo momento, sono state la spinta propulsiva per la realizzazione di un sistema semi-automatizzato di teleriabilitazione domiciliare a basso costo per pazienti con disabilit\u00e0 moderata causata da ictus cerebrale, \u00e8 stato: Andrea Zedda, assegnista di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica ed Elettronica (DIEE<\/span>) dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Cagliari. Durante la breve presentazione del progetto, intitolata “DoMoMEA: a home neuromotor telerehabilitation system for stroke patients<\/a><\/span>“<\/em>, sono stati approfonditi contesto, obiettivi e aspetti pi\u00f9 tecnologici, come la composizione dell\u2019intero sistema e dei suoi singoli dispositivi.<\/p>\n L’obiettivo del GNB<\/strong><\/a> \u00e8 promuovere e coordinare le attivit\u00e0 di ricerca e di formazione nel settore della bioingegneria svolte in Italia presso Universit\u00e0, enti di ricerca pubblici e privati e altri enti. Su base biennale viene perci\u00f2 organizzato il Congresso, che rappresenta la \u201cvetrina\u201d per le attivit\u00e0 di ricerca nell\u2019ambito della bioingegneria italiana. In particolare questa edizione, che si sarebbe dovuta svolgere nel 2020 a Trieste, per via dell’emergenza COVID-19 si \u00e8 svolta solo quest’anno e in modalit\u00e0 virtuale, a cura dell’Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Trieste. <\/p>\n <\/p> <\/p>\n At the 7th Congress of the National Group for Bioengineering<\/a> (GNB2020), held from June 9 to 11, 2021 in virtual mode, the team that has been working on the DoMoMEA project for years also participated.<\/p>\n To participate and to tell the motivations that, from the first moment, have been the driving force for the realization of a semi-automated home telerehabilitation system at low cost for patients with moderate disability caused by brain stroke, was: Andrea Zedda, research fellow at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DIEE) of the University of Cagliari. During the brief presentation of the project, entitled “DoMoMEA: a home neuromotor telerehabilitation system for stroke patients<\/em><\/a>“, the context, objectives and more technological aspects, such as the composition of the whole system and its individual devices, were discussed in depth.<\/p>\n The objective of GNB<\/strong><\/a> is to promote and coordinate research and training activities in the field of bioengineering carried out in Italy at universities, public and private research institutions and other entities. Therefore, the Congress is organized on a biennial basis and represents the “showcase” for research activities in the field of Italian bioengineering. In particular, this edition, which should have been held in 2020 in Trieste, due to the COVID-19 emergency took place only this year and in virtual mode, by the University of Trieste.<\/p>\n Lasting a total of three days, each of which was dedicated to an aspect of Engineering (Computer Science and Electronics, Clinical Biomechanics and Applied Bioengineering), the Congress saw the alternation of numerous speakers during the poster sessions and virtual podium sessions.
