Lo stage \u00e8 stato basato sull\u2019approfondimento del tema del wave runup (risalita dell\u2019onda sulla spiaggia), risultato fondamentale ai fini di gestione dei litorali costieri, soprattutto in relazione al tema del Coastal Hazards e di mareggiate significative. In particolare il prof. Giovanni Coco ha seguito e coordinato la ricerca svolta e formato la dottoranda su tecniche altamente innovative di modellazione di processi costieri, mediante l\u2019impiego della tecnica del Machine Learning (nell\u2019ambito dell\u2019intelligenza artificiale).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>n\u00b03 attivazione di collaborazioni internazionali con altri centri di ricerca: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Prof. Xiaofeng Liu, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Penn State University.
