{"id":249,"date":"2026-02-25T18:14:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T17:14:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/bullybustercenter\/?p=249"},"modified":"2026-02-25T18:14:17","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T17:14:17","slug":"bullybuster-at-the-european-day-against-harassment-in-rome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.unica.it\/bullybustercenter\/2026\/02\/25\/bullybuster-at-the-european-day-against-harassment-in-rome\/","title":{"rendered":"BullyBuster at the European Day Against Harassment in Rome"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On the occasion of the <strong>European Day Against Harassment<\/strong>, <strong>Prof. Gian Luca Marcialis<\/strong> took part as a speaker in the event hosted by the <strong>Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (FISE)<\/strong> at <strong>Esperienza Europa \u2013 David Sassoli<\/strong> in <strong>Rome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now in its <strong>fifth edition<\/strong>, the event brought together <strong>institutions, sport leaders, schools, researchers and students<\/strong> in a shared commitment to prevention, awareness-raising and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his speech, Prof. Marcialis presented the <strong>BullyBuster project<\/strong> and the work of the <strong>Interuniversity Research Centre \u201cBullyBuster\u201d<\/strong>, coordinated by the <strong>Biometrics Unit of the SAIfer Lab \u2013 Joint Lab on Safety and Security of AI (University of Cagliari)<\/strong> in collaboration with the research teams of the <strong>University of Bari<\/strong>, <strong>University of Naples Federico II<\/strong>, and the <strong>University of Foggia<\/strong>. The contribution highlighted how <strong>interdisciplinary research<\/strong> integrating <strong>artificial intelligence, psychology, and legal expertise<\/strong> can be translated into <strong>concrete tools<\/strong> for the prevention of <strong>bullying and cyberbullying in schools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event also featured a particularly meaningful moment with the presentation of the <strong>2026 stamp against Bullying and Cyberbullying<\/strong> by <strong>Poste Italiane<\/strong>.
