Then, following the order of requests the Chair will schedule the question time and the technical personnel will give the selected attendees the possibility of activating their microphones and pose the question.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.automatica2020.it\/index.php\/en\/zoom-rooms-links\/\"><strong>squares<\/strong><\/a>, participants will be able to activate their microphone and webcam and partecipate in the ongoing discussion. \u00a0Squares will not be moderated.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Each participant is free to move from a Zoom Room to another freely and without restrictions. The links to access each virtual beach or square, as well as a description of how each event is hosted and managed, are provided below.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"nc_list nc_text\"><a id=\"eventi_spiagge\"><\/a>\r\n<hr \/><\/div>\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #dc1111\">EVENTS ON VIRTUAL BEACHES\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\r\n<div class=\"nc_list nc_text\">\r\n<div class=\"nc_row\">\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <strong>technical-scientific sessions<\/strong> and the <strong>round table<\/strong> will be hosted on the <strong>virtual beaches<\/strong> as <strong>Zoom Webinar<\/strong>. In accordance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.automatica2020.it\/index.php\/en\/program\/\">program<\/a>, 3 scientific parallel sessions will be scheduled. Within each beach, a participant can play one of the following roles:<\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\r\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360000252726-Roles-in-a-webinar\"><strong>Attendee<\/strong><\/a>: Attendees is a simple listener. S\/he can comment in the public chat or if s\/he wish ask for the floor through the \u201cChat\u201d channel. More details regarding how the Chair will schedule the partecipant&#8217;s questions is provided in the next section.<\/li>\r\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360000252726-Roles-in-a-webinar\"><strong>Panelist<\/strong><\/a>: The Chairs and speakers of a session will play the role Panelist for that session, then will be downgraded to Attendees. A Panelist has the privilege of being able to share its voice, screen, or multi-media contents from their own devices.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The default access to a beach is in guise of an Attendee. The election to Panelist is moderated by the beach technical staff. Speakers will declare into the &#8220;Chat&#8221; channel their role in the session, in order to be given the &#8220;Panelist&#8221; privileges. To avoid technical problems, simple tests can be done in this phase.<\/li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Beginning of the session<\/span> \u2013 All participants are invited to turn off their camera except for the session Chair who introduces the session and the first speaker. At the same time the technical staff will broadcast the live streaming of the session on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UClC1--45jVm1Ty5CbsQ7_EA\/videos?view_as=subscriber\">Conference\u2019s YOUTUBE channel<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Presentation of the first contribution (15 min)<\/span> \u2013 The speaker will have to activate the camera and microphone, share the slides and start the presentation.<\/li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Discussions at the end of the first presentation (5 min)<\/span> \u2013 The Chair turns his\/her camera on and starts the discussion. Attendees that want to pose a question to the speaker will write in the &#8220;Chat&#8221; channel that they intend to ask something. Then, following the order of requests the Chair will schedule the question time and the technical personnel will give the selected attendees the possibility of activating their microphones and pose the question. The discussion should end accordingly to the program schedule before the time indicated for the next presentation.<\/li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Other presentations<\/span> \u2013 The presentation and discussion of all contributions follow according to the program. If the discussion end before the allotted time, the participants should wait in order to start the next presentation accordingly with the time indicated in the program.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<div class=\"nc_row\"><a id=\"tavola\"><\/a>\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #dc1111\">ROUND TABLE<\/span><\/h4>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <strong>round table<\/strong> \u201c<em>La didattica a distanza nel settore dell\u2019Automatica: Opportunit\u00e0 e limitazioni<\/em>\u201d will take place as <strong>Zoom Webinar<\/strong> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/j\/93705722994\">Virtual Poetto beach<\/a>. As for the technical-scientific sessions, an <a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360000252726-Roles-in-a-webinar\"><strong>Attendee<\/strong><\/a> is be able to ask for the floor through the &#8220;Chat&#8221; channel.
