AUTOlab

Mauro Franceschelli was born in Pontedera (PI) Italy in 1983. He received a B.S. and M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering in 2005 and 2007 from the University of Cagliari, Italy. He received a PhD in Automatic Control (ING-INF/04) from the University of Cagliari, Italy, 2011 and continued its research collaboration with a postdoc from March 2011 to September 2015. He received a diploma supplement of doctoral studies, the ICO-NEH International Curriculum Option of Doctoral Studies in Networked, Embedded, and Hybrid Control Systems for Complex, Distributed and Heterogeneous Systems, in 2012. He has been visiting student for extended periods at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GaTech), Atlanta, GA, US at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), Santa Barbara, CA, US and Xidian University, Xi'an, China. He is currently assistant professor (RTD) at the Automatic Control lab (AUTOlab) (ING-INF/04) of the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Cagliari, Italy, since October 1st 2015.
